Krayo
Krayo is an AI agent I built to handle procurement for direct-to-consumer brands that make their products in China.
At FORTA I'm always eager to learn more than what I have to do. One day I was watching my sister procure packaging on Alibaba, and she described how much back-and-forth it takes. An order can take weeks to months to finalize, half the time the suppliers don't speak English or it's broken English, and there are a lot of delays in responses.
So I built an AI agent for that procurement process. It takes the product brief, whatever the brand is looking for, finds the suppliers, negotiates with them by email in Mandarin, and drafts the purchase order. It's always on and ready to respond, so it automates that whole process. I built it with Next.js, Supabase, and a Claude agent that hands work to other, smaller agents, and I designed it with FORTA as the design partner.
I applied to YC with it as a solo founder, and I'm still building it. The code is on GitHub.
